Hair Transplant

In DHI HAIR TRANSPLANTATION method, hair follicles are placed into implantation pens called choi during transplantation process. Creating channel and transplanting the follicle are carried out at a time. Sharp edge of the pen pierces the skin and creates a new hair shaft, and while the pen is getting out, it embeds the hair follicle to its new shaft. Although a small amount of hair follicle get damaged while hair follicle is placed into the pen, it facilitates hair transplantation especially in unshaven hair transplant method.

 

It is possible to achieve success in both DHI and classical transplantation. DHI is reliably used especially for unshaven hair transplants, rear row hair transplant, non-mega session hair transplants. We also carry out combination for many hair transplantation procedures. Don’t forget that survival rate of follicles are not higher in DHI method. Moreover, in DHI method, hair follicles are not stay out for shorter period.

 

The success in hair transplantation is achieved by being comply with micro surgical transplantation rules and adequate transplantation speed more than the method used. When it is carried out by inexperienced people, DHI may cause much more damage of hair follicles, also a slow transplantation process may lead to lose of 30% hair follicles. Hemostat solutions are not used as they cause the hair follicle, transplanted with DHI, to spurt from the skin due to the pressure in tissue, and hemorrhage is very likely. In DHI method, especially front row transplantation is not successful as classical method due to pump out risk. Briefly: In frequent hair transplantation with DHI method, pressure of last implanter pen may cause the previous hair cluster to get out. As unshaved hair transplantation is carried out in a hairy area, pump out risk is less and can be used successfully.
